-Advice on funding proposals and donor coordination
-Advice on bilateral and multilateral affairs relevant to the Pacific, Asia, the Middle East, Europe, the Americas, and international and regional organizations like the United Nations and the Pacific Islands Forum
-Coordination for international and regional conferences and meetings
-Advice on all foreign matters as they relate to the Government of Tuvalu
-Coordination with Tuvalu diplomats, diplomatic missions, and honorary consuls abroad
