Today, the President of the Republic of China (Taiwan) H.E. Tsai Ing-wen welcomed Hon. Prime Minister Kausea Natano and delegation with military honors at Taiwan’s Presidential Office! After the official welcome, which was attended by the diplomatic corps resident in Taiwan, Hon. Prime Minister Natano and H.E. President Tsai held meetings to exchange views on issues of mutual concern! At noon, H.E. President Tsai hosted a state banquet for the Hon. Prime Minister and his delegation at the Presidential Office! During their discussions, Hon. Prime Minister Natano and H.E. President Tsai exchanged views on the strong relationship between Tuvalu and Taiwan and their stance against climate change and noted that Tuvalu and Taiwan would sign a joint communique reaffirming diplomatic relations during the State Visit, as well as MOUs on maritime patrol and police cooperation! The Ministry thanks H.E. President Tsai Ing-wen for extending the highest level of respect and honor to the Hon. Prime Minister during his stay in Taiwan!
