This week, Tuvalu’s High Commissioner Designate to New Zealand H.E. Feue Tipu and Deputy High Commissioner Designate Palipa Lauti accepted the presentation of 10 cartoons of library books from Ms. Teala Maheu, a Pacific Engagement Specialist and Tuvaluan working with the Hastings District Libraries! The books were presented on behalf of the Hastings District Libraries for donation to the Tuvalu National Library in Funafuti! The Ministry thanks H.E. Tipu and diplomats at the Tuvalu High Commission in Wellington for arranging for the kind donation from the Hastings District Libraries and joins H.E. Tipu in extending its gratitude to the Hastings District Libraries for the library books and the opportunity to partner in shipping the books to Tuvalu!
