Today, Hon. Minister Simon Kofe met with diplomats and staff at the Tuvalu High Commission in Suva to evaluate pressing issues for the Mission and explain the Government’s expectations for diplomats abroad! Tuvalu’s Acting High Commissioner to Fiji Mr. Falasese Tupau guided discussion on a variety of issues, ranging from quarantine matters and the COVID-19 pandemic to the Tuvalu Foreign Policy and Overseas Mission Policy! Through discussion, Hon. Minister Kofe, Acting High Commissioner Tupau, and the Tuvalu High Commission gained a greater understanding of how to work in enhanced collaboration moving forward! The Ministry thanks the High Commission for its excellent work on behalf of the Government of Tuvalu, especially during the trying times of the COVID-19 pandemic, and looks forward to realizing further diplomatic achievements with the High Commission into the future!
